The latest addition to their product line, the "123\TUNE+" range, allows users to wirelessly input a customizable advance-curve and vacuum-curve. Compatible with both clockwise and counterclockwise rotations, these units support operation on both 6 Volt and 12 Volt systems, featuring a built-in vacuum/boost sensor. Additional functionalities include a deluxe rev limiter (employing random spark stealing) and an ignition immobilization feature using a PIN code to enhance anti-theft security.
Users can seamlessly utilize their iPod, iPad, or iPhone to 'TUNE' the system while the engine is running. The intuitive interface displays essential metrics such as engine speed, advance timing, distributor temperature, battery voltage, spark energy, vacuum/boost levels, and—on devices equipped with a GPS module—the vehicle speed. By activating the 'TUNE' function, individuals can manually adjust the advance in increments of 0.1 degrees (relative to the crankshaft) up to ±5 degrees temporarily, facilitating the fine-tuning of the advance-curve for optimal performance without saving these modifications permanently.
The versatile 123\TUNE+ series will be offered for various classic car models from Alfa Romeo, Austin, BMW, Citroen (including 2CV, DS, and Traction models), Ford-Kent, Fiat, Jaguar, Lancia, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Midget, Mini, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Triumph, Volvo, and Volkswagen.
